    Saint Luke’s has a long history of social ministry in downtown Toronto which is how the came to be known as “The House of Friendship.” Currently, they support a meal program that distributes 600 meals/week to those who are food insecure, and hosts a food bank that serves over 900 people weekly.  

    Today, they find themselves in a financial

    Today, they find themselves in a financial crisis that places their ability to keep the doors open at risk.

    The Allan Gardens Food Bank is intended for clients who live in the Toronto downtown east area: from Yonge St to River St and from Bloor St south to Shuter St


    If you live outside this zone please visit a food bank in your area.

    We work hard to incorporate the wants and needs of our community when it comes to food selection. We believe that offering our community members choice and a “shopping” style experience is an important part of maintaining dignified food programs.

    CODE OF CONDUCT

    Please respect one another.

    No abusive language or behavior will be tolerated.

    First-time clients must register BEFORE arrival.

    Only SERVICE ANIMALS allowed inside with valid documentation & muzzled.

    Only ONE Food Bank visit per week.

    EVERYONE must line up to access Food Bank services.

    There will be NO pre-packaged boxes for pick-up.

    Please bring your own bags.
